দেশের ইন্টারনেট ও ক্যাবল টিভিসেবা আংশিকভাবে বন্ধ রাখার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে সংযোগদাতা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো। এ সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে ইন্টারনেট ও ক্যাবল টিভি সংযোগদাতা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো
আগামীকাল রবিবার থেকে প্রতিদিন এই সেবা থেকে বঞ্চিত হওয়ার আশঙ্কা তৈরি হয়েছে।
ইন্টারনেট সার্ভিস প্রোভাইডার্স অ্যাসোসিয়েশন অফ বাংলাদেশের (আইএসপিএবি) সভাপতি এম এ হাকিম বলেন, যদি আমাদের দাবি পূরণ না হয় এবং ডিএসসিসি আগামীকালের মধ্যে ঝুলন্ত তার অপসারণ থেকে না সরে আসে, তাহলে আগামী ১৮ অক্টোবর থেকে সব ইন্টারনেট ও কেবল টিভি সংযোগ প্রতিষ্ঠান প্রতিদিন সকাল ১০টা থেকে দুপুর ১টা পর্যন্ত তিন ঘণ্টা তাদের সেবা বন্ধ রাখবে।
এর আগে, ১২ অক্টোবর জাতীয় প্রেস ক্লাবে এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে আইএসপিএবি ও ক্যাবল অপারেটরস অ্যাসোসিয়েশন অফ বাংলাদেশ (সিওএবি) ১৭ তারিখের মধ্যে এ সমস্যা সমাধান করতে আল্টিমেটাম দিয়েছিল।
