পাইকগাছায় দাদীকে কুপিয়ে হত্যা ॥ নাতি আটক
পাইকগাছা (খুলনা) প্রতিনিধি ॥ পাইকগাছায় দাদীকে কুপিয়ে হত্যা করার ঘটনায় নাতিকে আটক করেছে পুলিশ। নিহত বৃদ্ধের মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার করে ময়না তদন্তের জন্য খুলনা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে পাঠানো হয়েছে। সোমবার দুপুরে উপজেলার রাড়ুলী ইউনিয়নের শ্রীকন্ঠপুর গ্রামে খুনের এ ঘটনাটি ঘটে। সিনিয়র সহকারী পুলিশ সুপার (ডি-সার্কেল) হুমায়ুন কবির, ওসি এজাজ শফী ও ওসি (তদন্ত) ঘটনাস্থল পরিদর্শন করেছেন।
ওসি এজাজ শফী জানান, ঘটনার দিন দুপুরে শ্রীকণ্ঠপুর গ্রামের মৃত জনাব আলী মোড়লের স্ত্রী নুরজাহান বিবি (৭০) রান্না ঘরে রান্না করছিল। এ সময় তুচ্ছ ঘটনাকে কেন্দ্র করে কামরুল মোড়লের ছেলে নাতি ইব্রাহিম খলিল উল্লাহ (২১) রান্না ঘরে ঢুকে দাদী নূরজাহানকে দা দিয়ে কুপিয়ে হত্যা করে। এ ঘটনায় নাতি ইব্রাহিমকে আটক করা হয়েছে। কি কারণে হত্যা করা হয়েছে, প্রকৃত ঘটনা উদঘাটনের জন্য ইব্রাহিমকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করা হচ্ছে বলে জানান ওসি।
